On the 72nd edition of the Miss World pageant, Nandini Gupta represented India internationally at the global stage at the competition's opening ceremony. Among the top 40 contestants, Nandini Gupta has secured her position as a semi-finalist with her intelligence, confidence and glamour. In 2023, Nandini also won the crown of Femina Miss India. The 21-year-old Miss World 2025 contestant is set to grace the global beauty stage with much glamour, wit and confidence. Who Is Nandini Gupta?

Nandini Gupta is a 21-year-old girl from Kota, Rajasthan. She hails from a humble farming background. Reportedly, she has spent 14 years of her life in Kota and had her schooling in Saint Paul’s Senior Secondary School, Mala Road. She obtained a degree in business management from Lala Lajpat Rai College in Mumbai. At a press conference held at Trident Hyderabad, Nandini stated, “It fills me with pride to represent India on home soil. Telangana’s charm, warmth, and diversity will certainly be a memorable backdrop for this transformative journey. I’m excited to welcome the world here.” She also added, “It does not matter where you are from, but where you want to go,” asserting that one should focus on their goals.

Aligning with the motto of the beauty pageant, that is, ‘Beauty with a purpose’, Nandini launched Project Ekta, which aims to bring lasting and meaningful changes in the lives of people from the differently abled community. Through this initiative, she tries to foster a culture of acceptance and mutual respect for people with special needs.

Nandini Gupta graced in a long, figure-hugging gown having a deep V-neckline and a slight train. The whole gown is embellished with gold sequins in a feather-like pattern.
