5 Famous Lord Shri Ram Temples
1. Ayodhya Ram Mandir, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi - Hindus have long placed great importance on the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya since it is believed to be the "Ram Janam Bhoomi," the site of Lord Ram's birth. Situated in the Faizabad district on the banks of the Saryu River, this Ram Mandir is highly revered by Hindus. Serene Ghats, traditional temples, and Hindus' unwavering faith in Lord Ram preserve the tranquillity of Ayodhya's Ram Mandir.
2. Kalaram Mandir, Nashik - The Panchavati area of Nashik, Maharashtra, is home to the magnificent Kalaram Mandir, one of India's Ram Mandirs. The temple's name, Kalaram, which translates to "Black Rama," comes from the two-foot-tall black statue of Lord Ram. There are also erected idols of Lakshman and Goddess Sita. After the tenth year of his fourteen-year exile, Lord Ram is said to have arrived in Panchavati beside the Godavari River with Mata Sita and Lakshman.
3. Ram Raja Temple, Madhya Pradesh - The only temple in India where Rama is revered as a king rather than a deity is the Ram Raja Temple. This Ram temple is built like a majestic fort, and police officers stand watch over it. King Rama receives an arms salutation and a guard of honour every day. This temple is among India's top Ram temples, and you will be astounded by its lovely interior. Originally, Chaturbhuj Temple was meant to house the idol of Lord Rama which is now housed at Ram Raja Temple. However, once it remained in its current location, nobody was able to move it.
4. Sita Ramachandraswamy Temple, Telangana - One of the most well-known Ram Mandirs in India is Sita Ramachandraswamy Temple, which is situated in Bhadrachalam, Bhadradri Kothagudem District, Telangana. Considering that Rama crossed the Godavari River to retrieve Sita from Lanka, the Ramachandraswamy Temple holds great significance in the history of Lord Ram. The temple's installed idol is positioned in Tribhanga's posture, with Goddess Sita standing next to Lord Ram and holding Dhanush and Ban in his hands.

5. Shri Ram Tirth Temple, Amritsar - Once Goddess Sita arrived from Lanka, she was again sent to exile. It is here in Shri Ram Tirth, at the ashram of Sage Valmiki, that she found refuge. She gave birth to the twins, Luv and Kush, at the same location. Shri Ram Tirth Temple was the scene of the battle between the twins and the army of Lord Ram. It was in this ashram that Valmiki wrote the entirety of the Ramayana.
