Diwali Laxmi Puja Muhurat 2025 Time: The sacred festival of lights - Diwali is eagerly awaited throughout the year. It symbolises the victory of light over darkness, good over evil and truth over falsehood. It is a grand festival that lasts for five days. Diwali falls on 20th October 2025 this year. As per the Hindu Panchang, Diwali falls on Kartik Krishna Paksha Amavasya tithi. One of the most significant customs associated with Diwali is the Lakshmi puja. Lord Ganesha, Goddess Saraswati and Maa Lakshmi are worshipped on the sacred occasion of Deepavali.

Diwali 2025 Lakshmi Puja Time And Shubh Muhurat
This year, the Sthir Lagna with Pradosh Kaal Muhurat for Lakshmi Pujan will be from 5:51 PM to 8:30 PM. The second Lagna will be from 7:18 PM to 9:15 PM. Simha Lagna will be from 1:48 PM to 4:00 AM after midnight.
Charkha Chaughadiya time will be from 5:51 PM to 7:26 PM. Labh Chaughadiya will be auspicious from 10:37 pm to 12:12 am. Shubh Amrit Chaughadiya will be from 1:48 AM to 4:58 AM after midnight. During this, Pradosh Kaal of Sthir Vrishabh Lagna and Kumbh Lagna will also be present during this time, which is the best for business owners.

Diwali 2025 Laxmi Puja Vidhi In English
Before the puja, thoroughly clean the house and decorate the puja area with rangoli, arches, garlands of lamps, and flowers. Then, place idols of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi on a wooden platform covered with red or yellow cloth. Afterwards, worship Lord Ganesha first and chant the mantra "Ganpataye Namah." Then, bathe Goddess Lakshmi with Panchamrit, offer roli, rice, ittar, and flowers, and chant the Lakshmi mantra at least 108 times. Finally, perform aarti with camphor and a ghee lamp.

The worship of Goddess Lakshmi is paramount on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. The new moon day is celebrated as Lakshmi Puja, Lakshmi-Ganesh Puja, and Diwali Puja, which are observed in families and offices alike, and are especially significant for traditional Hindu businessmen. On this day, ink, pens, and new ledgers are worshipped, and inkpots and pens are purified by invoking Goddess Mahakali and new ledgers by invoking Goddess Saraswati.
