Sunderkand Path: The Sunderkand path or Sundara Kanda is the title of the fifth book of the legendary Hindu epic Ramayana. It was a poem written in Sanskrit by the eminent sage Valmiki. Goswami Tulsidas later translated the chapter from the Awadhi language into the Ramcharitmanas. This chapter mainly highlights the splendour of Lord Hanuman's dedication, revelation, and powers during the battle between Lord Rama and the demon King Ravana.
Sunderkand Path: Importance
Sunderkand, one of the seven kands (parts) that make up the epic Ramayana, is credited with the ability to provide protection against evil. It also brings happiness and fortune and aids in removing barriers in one's way.
The Sunderkand details Lord Hanuman's journey across the sea and his triumph over adversity in order to locate Sita Maa in Lanka. This chapter also emphasizes his strength and intelligence. Sunderkand also makes references to a few important historical events in Ramayana.
