Photo-sharing app Instagram announced that users can now create their own 'Add Yours' template on the platform. The template sticker debuted on the Meta app in 2021 to allow users to generate public threads within Stories. Instagram noted that users can pin Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) files, text and images to a template. Plus, followers can add more items to the slate. This is set to make Stories even more interesting to use.
The 'Add Yours' sticker can turn any Story into a template where adding memes, images, and other forms of media is possible. Followers can participate in Stories where a user has added GIFs, text and photos using the 'Add Yours' template. A follower cannot alter the layout set by a user but can add their own elements.
"Level up your Stories game by creating your own Add Yours templates. Now you can pin GIFs, text and images to a template," Instagram said in a post on X, formerly Twitter. Here is a detailed guide on how to create an 'Add Yours' template.
