The highlight of this campaign is a handpicked collection titled “Tiranga Ek, Kahaniyaan Anek”, inspired by the three colours of the Indian flag:

Saffron – Showcasing courage and bravery with films like Take Off, Madras Cafe, and IB71.

White – Representing sacrifice and resilience with titles such as Salakaar, Neerja, Mangal Pandey: The Rising, and Chandrashekar.

Green – Celebrating India’s cultural pride with Sarzameen, Kesari 2, and Airlift.

On August 15, users will be greeted with a tricolour-themed welcome screen, guiding them to this curated collection.

Minakshi Achan, Head of Brand & Creative at JioHotstar, said, “JioHotstar has always believed in unlocking infinite possibilities through storytelling by giving viewers the freedom to choose what they watch, when they watch, and how they engage with it. Operation Tiranga celebrates the spirit of Independence Day and removes all barriers to access, allowing every viewer to discover stories that reflect the courage, resilience, and identity of the nation.”

It will be broadcast on television, outdoor advertisements, social media, and brand partnerships with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting's backing. In addition to entertainment, it will also generate awareness regarding appropriate flag protocols.
