ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) recently announced Season 9 of the ROG Academy, India's leading esports training programme focused on developing new talent and cultivating greatness in the gaming community. With a focus on CS2, Season 9 offers an immersive experience for participants, including cutting-edge gaming infrastructure, mentorship, and guest sessions from industry professionals. Registrations for the ninth season began on February 4, and prospective gamers aged 16 and above can enrol by visiting https://asus.in/ROG-academy/.
ROG Academy Season 9 Curriculum And Duration:
The players and team that made the short list will go through a rigorous selection procedure that is divided up into several stages. At the end of it all, six chosen players will be enrolled in a six-month programme that aims to acquaint them with every facet of gameplay at a high level and teach them strategies for working together, communicating, assessing opponents, monitoring progress, choosing weapons and skill sets, breaking down maps, executing, and more.
ROG Academy Season 9 Rewards & Outcome from the training:
The official title of the 9th season of the ROG Academy will be "CS2." A coach with experience and a representative from ASUS ROG will be on the panel. During training, the participants will earn a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000/ as financial compensation. In addition, for training purposes, the players will have access to the newest ROG equipment, such as a laptop, monitor, headphones, keyboard, etc.
ROG Academy Season 9 How to Apply
Beginning on February 4, 2024, individuals who are 16 years of age or older who want to play video games can register for the programme at https://asus.in/ROG-academy/. A letter of consent from their parents is required for gamers between the ages of 16 and 18 to be able to attend the academy.
ROG Academy Season 9 Selection Process
Application Test: Prior to being considered, all candidates are required to complete a form that will assess their knowledge of the game, the part they played, and their overall playing style.
Theory Test: In this test, players are put in a difficult circumstance to gauge their situational awareness and decision-making skills.
Range Test: During this round, participants will be given a variety of challenges to test their shooting prowess. We instructed the participants to earn the highest score possible while we turned the range bots on hard mode.
Scrims: Lastly, observe how they play, pay attention to how they communicate, and determine which player is most suited for each role.
