Samsung's One UI 7 rollout was officially started on April 7, as officially confirmed by the company. This update timeline is expected to introduce Android 15 to a range of devices. However, Samsung’s Indian fans are quite disappointed as they are not receiving the update early. There have been significant useful changes in One UI 7. Below, we will point out some noteworthy changes and upgrades that you should know before you upgrade your Samsung to One UI 7.

- Now Bar: It offers real-time updates on the lock screen at the bottom of the screen for some apps.

- AI Select: Once UI 7 have adaptive functionality when you select any on-screen content

- Writing Assist: You can summarise or generate text when selecting the text/text box; it was available earlier as well, but now it's improved.

- Drawing Assist: Combine text and sketch/image prompts to generate images

- Audio Eraser: Remove unwanted sounds in videos

- Google Gemini integration: Side-button press to access Gemini

- Natural language search in Settings: Now you can search settings such as “my eyes are tired” and your galaxy will find associated settings.

One UI 7 Supported Device List

According to the Samsung Singapore report, the One UI 7 update will further be rolled out to the older S-series smartphones, foldables and tablets. The list includes the Galaxy S24, S23, S22, and S21-series, as well as standard and ultra variants. Additionally, the Android 15-based One UI 7 features will be available for the Fan Edition S23 and S21 as well.

Now moving to the Foldables, One UI 7 update will be rolled out for the:

- Galaxy Z Fold 3,

- Galaxy Z Flip 3,

- Galaxy Z Fold 4,

- Galaxy Z Flip 4,

- Galaxy Z Fold 5, and

- Galaxy Z Flip 5.

For Tablets:
- Galaxy Tab S10,

- Galaxy Tab S9-series,

- Galaxy Tab S8-series,

- Galaxy Tab S9 FE, and

- Galaxy Tab S9 FE+

Keep in mind that Samsung has yet to provide detailed information regarding its mid-range and budget items. The update has already been implemented on certain devices like the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, Galaxy A26, Galaxy A06 5G, Galaxy M16, and some others. Users of other devices may still need to wait a few more weeks to receive the latest Android update.

One UI 7 Update Timeline

Samsung has recently published the timelines for the updates by regions globally. As stated by Samsung, the rollout of the One UI 7 software update begins on April 7. The company intended to roll out the official One UI 7 update for Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Z Fold 6 on April 10 in the US. Here is the schedule as it stands:

- April 7 – South Korea [Already Started]

- April 10 – United States, Canada, Norway, Sweden [Already Started]

- April 14 – Malaysia, Singapore

- “Early April” – Belgium, Netherlands

One UI 7 India Release Date

Officially there has been no update from Samsung about the release of One UI 7 in India. However, we have a post from a tipster, @TheGalox_, on X, formerly known as Twitter talking about the One UI 7 release date in India. He said “India, Middle East, Africa, Asia Should be getting One UI 7 for the S24 series & Z Fold6 | ZFlip6 between today and April 14, following Samsung’s launch time frame”.

So we can conclude from the post that India will soon start receiving One UI 7 update.
