If you’ve been waiting for an affordable 5G smartphone, Tecno has launched a new option under ₹10,000—the Tecno Spark Go 5G. The company claims it is India’s thinnest and lightest 5G phone, with a thickness of just 7.99 mm.

What makes this more impressive is that Tecno hasn’t compromised on battery life. The Spark Go 5G packs a 6000mAh battery, promising extended usage without the need to recharge frequently. Under the hood, it runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, aiming to deliver a smooth and responsive experience for everyday tasks.

Display and Software

The smartphone features a 6.74-inch HD+ display paired with a 120 Hz refresh rate, offering a more fluid scrolling experience and sharper visuals for streaming, browsing, and gaming. It ships with HiOS 15 based on Android 15, giving users the latest software experience out of the box. Tecno has also added practical tools like AI Writing Assist for productivity and Google’s Circle to Search feature. One notable addition is offline calling support, which lets users make calls even without inserting a SIM card.

Camera Features

For photography, the Spark Go 5G sports a 50MP rear camera that aims to deliver detailed shots, while a 5MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. Tecno says the camera setup is designed to provide balanced performance in this budget range.

Battery and Performance

The combination of the Dimensity 6400 processor, 4GB RAM, and a massive 6000mAh battery ensures the phone can handle daily multitasking and long usage without worry. Standard charging support is included.

Price, Variants, and Availability

Priced at ₹9,999 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, the Tecno Spark Go 5G will be available in Sky Blue, Bikaner Red, Green, and Ink Blue. Sales begin on August 21 through Flipkart and offline stores across India.
