Keeping in mind the increasing passenger numbers, the railways have decided to run a weekend special superfast reserved train between Delhi Junction and Varanasi. The service will provide relief to travellers. Train number 04024/04023, a Delhi Junction-Varanasi-Delhi Junction reserved superfast special, will be operated. This train will make a total of four trips. 

The train will run from Delhi Junction on January 23 and January 25. On its return journey from Varanasi, the train will operate on January 24 and January 26. The train will include AC, sleeper, and general class coaches, providing travel facilities for passengers of all classes.

Train Route and Timings

Train number 04024 will depart from Delhi Junction for Varanasi at 19:25. It will reach Ghaziabad at 20:08, Moradabad at 22:30, Lucknow at 03:30, Rae Bareli Junction at 04:55, and Maa Belha Devi Dham at 06:35. The train will then arrive in Varanasi at 09:40 the next morning. 

Train number 04023 will depart from Varanasi for Delhi Junction at 18:35. It will reach Maa Belha Devi Dham at 20:20, Rae Bareli Junction at 21:58, Lucknow at 00:20, Moradabad at 05:17, and Ghaziabad at 08:00. The train will then arrive at Delhi Junction at 08:50. 

The operation of this weekend special train will provide convenience for passengers travelling on the Delhi-Purvanchal route and will also help manage the crowds.

An individual has complained about potholes at the new Ghaziabad railway station. A person named Kapil Malik wrote in a post on X that there have been potholes at the station for a long time. The railways have left them uncovered, which could lead to a serious accident.
