Bengaluru Viral Video: Bengaluru, in the last couple of years, has turned into a state full of ‘unwelcoming’ people as per social media. The internet has been witnessing quite a few incidents proving the same, which are only increasing in number with time. Now, adding another questionable case to the list, a couple was thrashed by a Bengaluru family over a parking issue. The couple, who were reportedly from Belagavi, was then asked to leave the city by the family. A video of the incident was shared online, which went viral and left people reacting and outraged. The incident took place at night in the Doddanekundi area as per reports, but the date could not be confirmed.

What further left people irked, was that the family’s men were continuously slapping the man, while the aunty in the family charged at the woman. The couple reportedly moved to Bangalore just a while ago. As soon as the video went viral, the police also took notice of the manner and are investigating the matter as per reports.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘AnaghaDeshpand6’. The post was captioned, “Yesterday night in Bengaluru's Doddanekundi a couple from Karnataka's Belagavi who recently moved to the city were harassed thrashed, abused for parking their car in front of their house (in a land which is open for parking).”

“Another woman from the same house tried to strip the girl's top off and hit her and asked her to get out of Bengaluru and that this is their city. The abuses used cannot be mentioned here. This young couple are scared and need police intervention ASAP,” the post further read.

Ok, in all seriousness, I've never seen other states so unwelcoming of people outside the state. After all, I was right about Bangalore, it's just a bunch of mess,” said a second person.

“When it comes to locals of Metropolitan cities in India, Bengaluru has the worst ones in terms of behaviour.. have experienced it while living there for 4 yrs, luckily not more,” read a third person. “This behaviour with Kanndigas from different districts/zones and one can only wonder what kind of behaviour locals pulls with people from outside the state,” said another. “Side effects of too much of migration, the greed of the real estate industry,” added another.
