India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup Match: There is no denying the fact that yesterday, June 09, desis were at the edge of their seats until the last bowl that Pakistan played hardly made any difference at the outcome of the Indian vs Pakistan match at the T20 World Cup. Basically, that’s how intense the match was till the last minute. For those unaware, India defeated its neighboring nation with 6 runs at yesterday's match, which was being played in the US. As soon as the country clinched the win, a wave of excitement took the internet over. Joining in on the celebrations, Delhi Police also decided to celebrate the win, but in a hilarious way.
Taking to its social media handle, the Delhi Police tagged the New York Police Department on an X (formerly Twitter) post, which basically was a funny dig that netizens seemed to love.
The post was shared on X, on the official handle of the Delhi Police. The post read, “Hey, @NYPDnews. We heard two loud noises. One is ‘Indiaaa..India!’, and another is probably of broken televisions. Can you please confirm?”

The post went viral as it ended up amusing many. Most joined in on the joke and pulled a few more, involving Pakistan, while the rest lauded the witty and hilarious post by the Delhi Police. The X post was shared last night after the match and pulled 970K views from people.
Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “What a ripper. I admire the fellow who manages this handle. You guys rock,” a user said. “That was a really good one LOL,” added a second person. “Dear Delhi police, please join their space.... Bahut aawajen aa rahi hain (A lot of noise is coming),” added another.
“Hey, @DelhiPolice. You should ask the same question to the Pak army as well. Heard some India-India sounds from another side as well and numerous broken TV sets,” joked another. “Matter of grave concern. Delhi Police must investigate this,” commented a fifth user. “Pakistanis coming with ‘we have better humor than India" replies and quotes,’ added another.

This year, the T20 World Cup is being hosted in the USA and the West Indies. India, on the other hand, is next scheduled to play against the USA, on June 13.
