Viral Video: The Internet was quick to pin its hopes on Haryana’s 9-year-old Arshia Goswami, after a video of her deadlifting 75 kg went viral on social media. Reportedly, the young talent has been deadlifting for years and hails from Panchkula. She also earned praise back in 2021, when she was just 6 years old and deadlifted 45 kg, which also reportedly earned her the title of being the youngest deadlifter in the country. She made headlines yet again in 2023, when she impressively crossed the 60 kg mark. Now, with 75 kg under her name, the young talent again became an overnight sensation. Meanwhile, many have begun to see her as India’s upcoming Olampian.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Visionaledge’. The post was captioned, “A 75 kg (165 lbs) deadlift by Arshia Goswami.”

The video left people impressed as a majority lauded her fitness and skills. Some also pointed out the way she lifted such heavyweights at such a young age, that so, effortlessly. The post was shared 2 days ago and received views in thousands.
Taking to the comment section, netizens shared their views. “This kid is simply awesome. I have been seeing her videos for the last 2 years. And she is going from strength to strength...more power to her,” a user said. “Awesome. This looks more than 75 kgs,” added a second person. “Go girl,” added a third user.
“This girl is really on fire. Also, that weight looks a lot, and she looked a bit too comfortable doing that, at least for her age,” added a fourth person. “That kid is Arshia Goswami.
