Viral Video: The animal kingdom can teach a lot, especially when it comes to sticking together and protecting one’s loved ones- and that is exactly what half the internet agreed to after a video from the mighty jungle was shared on social media. The clip was of a herd of elephants doing what they do best; protect their kids. The herd, with four to five adult elephants, was quick to protect the three young elephants that were with them, as soon as some predators inched towards them. What made the incident further viral, was the way the gentle giants did the deed.
Forming a quick circle, with their back toward the center, the adult elephants created a type of ring. And yes you guessed it correct, in the middle of the said ring, were three little elephants, taking shelter from the predators. The clip went viral almost immediately, inspiring and impressing many.
The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘buitengebieden’. The post was captioned, “This is how elephants protect their babies.”
