Viral Video: Instances of people boarding public transport without tickets, especially the Indian Railways’ trains, are increasing at an alarming rate. The internet has been witnessing the rapid rise of such reports for quite a while now, making it a concerning issue, not only for authorities but also for regular passengers with tickets. Amid all this, a TTE turned into an ‘inspiration’ for many, after his video of schooling a ticketless passenger went viral. The said TTE was seen shouting at the passenger, as he asked him to deboard.

The date and location of the incident could not be confirmed. The clip also had a few ‘opponents’, who instead advocated for the ticketless passenger, whereas, a majority sided with the TTE.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formally Twitter), by the handle ‘Arhant Shelby’. The post was re-shared by the handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh’, with the caption, “Kalesh b/w a Guy and TTE inside Indian Railways over travelling without a ticket.”

The video, soon after getting shared, went viral on social media. Most people sided with the TTE and pointed out the increasing issues that passengers with tickets are facing because of passengers travelling without tickets, the rest found the incident funny. The post was shared today and pulled 45K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Wow, so people can't travel without tickets on the train now? India has truly become a dictator country, shame on tte,” a user joked. “There should be a system to stop people from boarding who don't have a ticket,” a person said. “IN INDIA THESE THINGS ARE FOR GUARANTEED,” commented a third person.

“It's happening a lot nowadays. Even in 3rd AC,” added a fourth user. “Just a normal day in Indian railways,” added a fifth netizen. “These guys buy general tickets and travel in AC coaches, don't they feel ashamed? TT did the right thing,” added another. “This is the definition of dictatorship for some people i.e Not being allowed to break rules and following public protocols,” added a seventh user.
