Viral Video: Over the past few months, animal and human conflict-related incidents have become way too common, leaving the internet divided over taking sides. However, this Faridabad incident seemingly triggered the majority and hardly divided the take, as a man was accused of brutally killing a 2-month-old puppy with sticks. What was further disturbing was that the man was also accompanied by a young kid with a stick, who was seen following suit. The poor puppy, on the other hand, was heard shouting and screaming as the man tried to chase it down.

A video of the incident was shared online, which went viral almost immediately. The man, as per the viral post, was someone named ‘Romi’, while the incident unfolded in Faridabad’s SGM Nagar. The date of the incident could not be confirmed. At the end of the clip, a woman was seen intervening, as she seemingly argued with the man to stop.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘EnviroHuman’. The post was captioned, “He kept screaming in pain, but still, the man kept hitting continuously. Gali No 1, G Block, Behind Muskan Tailor, Near Sharma Chowk, SGM Nagar, Faridabad. A person named "Romi" brutally kills a 2-month-old innocent animal." The video was shared two days ago and pulled 53K views from people.

The video went viral and left a majority fumed. Most people tagged authorities in the post’s comment box and demanded action, while the rest chastised the man for his brutal violence against an animal and for teaching the young kid the same.

Taking to the internet, people shared their take. “Some people are just outright sadistic and brutal. If you are so bothered just arrange for them to be sent to the dog shelter. Should pay a minimum 5 lakh fine and jailed for 2-4 years for this brutality would be optimal,” added a user. “That man will get his karma in this world,” wrote a second person.

“He should be punished. How brutally he killed the innocent dog. Police should take immediate action against him,” wrote another. “It is said that a child's first teachers are his/her parents, I hope that is not the case in this case,” commented a third user. “I am afraid to think what that kid must have learned that day. least we can do is let them live freely,” added another.
