Viral Video: World Cups and IPLs may come and go, but for India it seems, the ‘doppelganger season’ has become a constant. With the speed at which lookalikes of multiple Indian cricketers are going viral these days, it's safe to assume that we might see an entire team of doppelgangers soon; Indian National Doppelgangers Cricket Team! Exaggeration much? Well, no! Because after lookalikes of Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, broke the internet, it's time for Shikhar Dhawan’s doppelganger to take the spotlight.
A video of Dhawan’s lookalike went viral, and what made it further interesting was that he was driving around with Kohli’s lookalike. The two were riding a scooter, and the said video was recorded in selfie mode. The clip went viral and left people joking around. The two, as seen in the video, were seen stuck in the traffic, which is when they decided to record themselves. The date and location of the clip could not be confirmed.
The video was shared on social media platform ‘desi_bhayo88’. The post was captioned, “Kohli ji and Shikhar Dhawan are together at the points table, and they are together here as well.”

The video, after it went viral, left people reacting and recalling the other lookalikes of multiple cricketers, that have surfaced in the past few months. Some people also pulled jokes on the clips, and the rest were surprised over the resemblance. The post was shared yesterday and pulled 53K views from people.
Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Low speed EV? Probably, that’s why none of the two are wearing helmets!!!” a user said. “Retirement ke baad dono ese hi delhi me ghoomenge (Both of them will be in Delhi after their retirement),” added a second person. “Me : I want Kohli. Mom : We have Kohli at Home.*And this is the Kohli she was talking about*” wrote another.
“Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhavan after ipl 2024. Enjoying their lives and having the food they were craving since they were playing,” added a fourth user. “Omg pls autograph for me,” joked another. “How come so many doppelgangers are surfacing recently. It's like all the critters have their own lookalike, and they will make a second ‘backup’ team,” commented a fifth person.
