Viral Video: The world of ancient medicines is truly one of the most weird ones. They may make you feel ‘healthy’ again, but the process is surely unforgettably unique. So much so, that one might even feel like dying, only to come back to senses with ‘love in heart’ and a ‘smile on face’. Experiencing something similar after doing ‘speed-toading’ in Mexico, also known as bufo alvarius, a YouTuber shared his experience. For those unaware, it basically is ‘psychedelic toad medicines’, known for its medicinal benefits among indigenous communities.
Opening up about the same, YouTuber Dakota Wint, explained it as an experience that almost made him feel like he was dead. “Being ripped out of your body and laying on cosmic operation tables having kaleidoscopic alien reptiles pulling energy out of your body – it’s an intense experience to go through,” the YouTuber was heard saying in his video.
“Then, in an instant, you break through and find yourself in this realm…brimming with acceptance, forgiveness, and love. I returned with a smile on my face and laughter in my heart, having comprehended the essence of existence,” Wint further added.
The video was shared on YouTube, with the video titled, “I Smoked Toad Venom & Thought I Died.”

The video is going viral for multiple reasons. Most people were against such drugs and urged the YouTuber to not make the practice go viral, while a majority recalled their own experiences. The post was shared a while back and has pulled 488K views so far.

Taking to the comments section, people shared their views. “This is exactly why drugs are banned. Otherwise, we would find the meaning of life and not continue in this Consumerist society,” a user wrote. “I smoked Bufo two years ago by myself. It was an amazing experience, a very intense one but it was nice and life-changing. It was like talking to what our human minds call god; source. I died. Time didn't exist. Every frame was stopped. It was only me. There were no others,” read a second person.
