How Did The Train Derail?

The Pakistan Railways has not revealed the cause of the derailment, stating that the reasons will be ascertained after investigation. However, some eyewitnesses said the derailment happened when the couplers between the bogies broke, splitting the trains in two parts. They claimed that while seven bogies were still attached to the engine, five overturned in the accident.
