Illegal Indian immigrants in the United States are being continuously deported back to India amid Donald Trump’s crackdown on immigration. So far, three American transport planes carrying over 332 Indian nationals have landed at Amritsar Airport. Notably, during the deportation process, individuals were seen wearing handcuffs and leg shackles, sparking outrage over what many have condemned as ‘inhumane treatment’. Opposition MPs expressed concern and raised questions with the government regarding the issue.

Meanwhile, the White House has posted a new video of illegal immigrants bound in handcuffs. In the 41-second video posted on the White House's official page, it can be seen that the immigrants being deported are being prepared for the process. A police officer can be seen placing handcuffs on one of the deported individuals.

The video does not show the face of any individual, but it is clear that the people’s hands and feet are chained. In one clip, a person is seen boarding a plane with shackles on their legs.

A few days ago, 112 illegal Indian immigrants were deported aboard a US military aircraft. This was the third group of illegal Indian immigrants sent back under the Trump administration. Previously, 116 people were sent back in the second group, and 104 individuals were sent back in the first group.

Many deportees have shared their harrowing experiences of mistreatment by US authorities. Jaswinder Singh, one of the deportees, recounted his ordeal, revealing that he was only allowed to wear his turban after arriving at Amritsar Airport, nearly 20 days after being detained by US authorities for illegally crossing the US-Mexico border on January 27.
