2024 BMW 3 Series Unveiled Globally: 2024 BMW 3 Series has been updated with several enhancements including design changes, interior updates, new infotainment software and an extended electric-only range for plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variants. Production of these updated models is scheduled to start in July in Europe.

2024 BMW 3 Series - Design
Talking about the design of the 2024 BMW 3 Series, exterior changes are minimal but include a more aerodynamic front bumper, angular sills and new 19-inch alloy wheel designs. Standard models come with 17-inch alloys. Moreover, it is now available in nine colour scheme options.
2024 BMW 3 Series - Interior & Features
Moving inside the 2024 BMW 3 Series, the manufacturer has focused on a cleaner look by reducing the number of physical buttons. All models now come with tri-zone climate control and a 14.9-inch curved infotainment display, along with a 12.3-inch digital instrument display. New interior features include glass trim pieces for the iDrive controller, ignition button and gear selector, similar to those in the 5 and 7 Series. The 3 Series also gets a new sports steering wheel, updated air-vent design and new ambient lighting that can signal incoming phone calls or open doors. New interior trim options include dark graphite matte and grey blue ash wood with carbon fibre and aluminium inserts.

2024 BMW 3 Series - Powertrain
Talking about the powertrain of the 2024 BMW 3 Series, a major update is the new 19.5kWh battery for the PHEV variant, increasing the electric range to 101 km, 35 km more than before. This PHEV setup includes a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor, producing a combined power output of 300 bhp. The battery can be charged in 2 hours and 15 minutes to fully recharge. The 320i features a mild-hybrid 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with 184 bhp, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h. The M340i uses a 3.0-litre straight-six engine with a 48V starter-generator, producing a power output of 374 bhp and 500 Nm of torque, with a 0-100 km/h time of 4.4 seconds.
