Bajaj CNG Bike Launch Date: Bajaj Auto, a renowned two-wheeler manufacturer in India has launched the new Pulsar NS400Z in the country today. In addition to the newly launched Pulsar, Bajaj has been working on the world's first CNG motorcycle since quite some time. Ahead of its launch, Bajaj CNG bike has been spotted testing in India.

Bajaj CNG Bike - Launch Date
According to a report by HT Auto, Bajaj has confirmed that it will be launching the world's first CNG motorcycle on June 18, 2024. This move was confirmed by Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director of Bajaj Auto, during the launch event of the new Pulsar NS400Z. The upcoming CNG motorcycle aims to provide a more cost-effective commuting option for the masses, marking a significant milestone in the automotive industry.
Bajaj CNG Bike - Details
Recent spy shots of the Bajaj CNG bike during testing have showcased a robust fuel tank that suggests a dual-fuel system. It is expected to fall in the 100-125 cc range, targeting commuter needs. Test bikes have been seen with telescopic front forks, a monoshock at the rear, and a combination of disc and drum brakes. Safety features like single-channel ABS or Combi-braking are likely to be included to meet safety standards. Although the official name of the CNG bike hasn't been revealed yet, Bajaj recently trademarked the name "Bruzer," which could potentially be its moniker. This upcoming Bajaj CNG bike is anticipated to pave the way for more CNG models from Bajaj in the future.
Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z Launched In India
In addition to the CNG bike, Bajaj launched its flagship Pulsar model in the Indian market, known as the Pulsar NS400Z. The Pulsar NS400Z has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom) initially. Bookings are currently open for the NS400Z and the bike can be booked by paying a token amount of Rs 5,000, and deliveries are set to commence from June.
Under the hood, the new Pulsar NS400Z boasts the same engine found in the Dominar 400. This unit is a liquid-cooled 373 cc unit that generates a power output of 39 bhp and 35 Nm of torque. It comes equipped with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slip and assist clutch. Noteworthy features include ride-by-wire technology, multiple riding modes, traction control, and various ABS modes for enhanced safety and performance.
