The preference for automatic cars (also known as automatic transmissions) varies depending on factors such as personal preferences and driving habits. Automatic cars are easy to drive, especially in congested traffic, as they eliminate the need to constantly shift gears manually. Automatic cars can also reduce driver fatigue during long drives and are more accessible to individuals with physical disabilities. The inclination towards automatic cars has also shown remarkable growth in recent years in the Indian market.

Maruti Suzuki WagonR

The Maruti Suzuki WagonR provides a choice of two petrol engines, with the automatic version using a 1.2 litre engine, achieving 24 Kmpl mileage. The starting price of this car ranges from Rs 5.61 lakh to Rs 5.90 lakh (Ex-showroom). Under its hood, the car houses a 1-litre petrol engine. In terms of features, this car is equipped with a multifunction steering wheel, touchscreen functionality, an anti-lock braking system, front power windows and wheel covers. Regarding safety, the car comes with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, a reversing camera, and rear parking sensors.
