BMW R 1300 GS Teased: BMW Motorrad, a leading name in high-performance motorcycles, is gearing up to launch the all-new R 1300 GS in India. This model will be launched as a successor to the R 1250 GS and is expected to hit the market in June 2024. Ahead of its launch, BMW teased the R 1300 GS on social media, creating excitement among motorcycle enthusiasts.

BMW R 1300 GS - Engine 

Talking about its power and performance, the BMW R 1300 GS will be powered by a 1,300cc twin-cylinder boxer engine. This engine will produce an impressive power output of 143 bhp and 149 Nm of torque. It will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring BMW’s ShiftCam technology.

BMW R 1300 GS - Design 

Talking about the design of the BMW R 1300 GS, it will come with a new Matrix LED headlamp setup, complete with X-shaped LED DRLs, a split seating arrangement and a transparent front visor. The front section will have knuckle guards and integrated LED turn indicators. The bike will also feature a new, stiffer chassis. 

BMW R 1300 GS - Features 

To enhance its appeal in the segment, the R 1300 GS will include a fully digital instrument console. This console will allow riders to monitor various details such as RPM, speed, fuel level, riding modes and gear position. Additional features include a 6.5-inch color TFT display, ride-off assistant, multiple riding modes, Full Integral ABS Pro, lane change warning, keyless ignition, front collision warning and adaptive cruise control.

BMW R 1300 GS - Expected Price 

Talking about the price of the BMW R 1300 GS, it is being speculated that it might be priced between Rs 22 lakh and Rs 23 lakh (ex-showroom), though BMW has not confirmed these details yet. Moreover, according to some media reports, dealerships are already accepting bookings for the upcoming R 1300 GS. Interested buyers can book the upcoming bike with a fully refundable token amount ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh.
