Hyundai Best Selling Cars In India: Creta, Venue, Exter Among Best Selling Vehicles In April; Full List Revealed

South Korean manufacturer Hyundai Motor India has registered total sales of 63, 701 units in April 2024, posting a YOY growth of 9.5 per cent. From these 63,701 units, 50,201 units were sold in the domestic market and 13, 500 units were exported. Commenting on the sales performance, Mr. Tarun Garg, COO, Hyundai Motor India Ltd, said, “In April 2024, Hyundai Motor India achieved fourth consecutive month of 50,000 plus units in domestic sales during CY 24. Driven by models like the Creta, Venue and Exter, SUVs continued to be a growth driver contributing 67 per cent of HMI domestic sales.”

Hyundai’s Best Selling Cars 

Hyundai Creta 

Hyundai Creta is available in the Indian market with its prices ranging between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 20.15 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in seven broad variants: E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX(O). The Hyundai Creta offers a range of powertrain options, there's a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that delivers 115 bhp of power and 144 Nm of torque. This engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT. For those seeking more power, there's a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that delivers a power output of 160 bhp and 253 Nm of torque. It comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). Additionally, the Creta offers a 1.5-litre diesel engine option with 116 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque. This diesel variant is available with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission. 

Hyundai Venue 

Hyundai Venue is available in the Indian market with its prices ranging between Rs 7.94 lakh and Rs 13.48 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in six broad variants: E, S, Executive, S+/S(O), SX, and SX(O). Hyundai Venue is also available with three engine choices - a 1.2-litre petrol with 83 bhp paired with a 5 speed manual, a 1-litre turbo petrol with 120 bhp paired with a 6 speed MT or optional 7 speed DCT and a 1.5-litre diesel with 116 bhp paired solely with a 6 speed manual.

Hyundai Exter

Hyundai Exter is available in the Indian market with its prices ranging between Rs 6.13 lakh and Rs 10.28 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in seven broad variants: EX, EX (O), S, S (O), SX, SX (O) and SX (O) Connect. Hyundai Exter is equipped with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 83 bhp of power and 114 Nm of torque. It offers the choice of a 5 speed manual transmission or a 5 speed AMT. Additionally, there's a petrol-CNG variant with 69 bhp and 95 Nm of torque, paired with a 5 speed manual transmission.
