Maruti Suzuki Swift Facelift Launch Date: Maruti Suzuki India, one of the largest automobile manufacturers in India is gearing up to launch the new-gen Swift hatchback in the Indian market. Maruti Suzuki has confirmed that the new-gen Swift will be launched in the Indian market on May 9. Ahead of its launch, the manufacturer has started accepting bookings for the 2024 Swift in India. Interested customers can book the upcoming Swift by paying a booking amount of Rs 11,000 on Maruti Suzuki’s official website or through its Arena dealerships.

The Maruti Suzuki Swift has been a hit since its debut, selling over 29 lakh units. Mr. Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited said on the occasion, “The Swift has been an iconic brand for Maruti Suzuki, one that has evolved with changing times to redefine customer expectations. Its 29 lakh strong customer base and numerous awards & accolades are a testament to how the iconic Swift has gone from strength to strength. The Epic New Swift stays true to its much-loved sporty DNA, while balancing new-age expectations of environment friendliness with low emissions. As always, the next-generation Swift is all set to create new benchmarks in the premium hatchback segment and further the concept of the 'Joy of Mobility' in its own right.”

In terms of exterior design, the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift will offer various variants and colour options. Its appearance will evolve with updates like a new grille, bumpers, alloy wheels, a shark-fin antenna and conventional door handles replacing the previous C-pillar mounted ones.

In the interior, expect upgrades like a floating touchscreen infotainment system, a larger MID unit for the instrument console and new seat upholstery. The interior design draws inspiration from the Baleno.

Under the hood, the new Swift will be powered by the 1.2 litre Z-Series petrol engine, replacing the previous K-Series unit. It will offer manual and AMT gearbox options, including a CNG variant. Overall, the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift promises a refreshed look, modern features, and improved performance while staying true to its iconic heritage.
