Hyundai Creta vs Honda Elevate: SUVs have become widely popular in the Indian automotive market. This increasing popularity can be attributed to several factors such as their commanding presence on the road, better ground clearance and high riding position. Additionally, SUVs are the ideal choice for Indian roads due to their conditions. Witnessing the ongoing trend of SUVs, manufacturers have been introducing multiple SUV models in their vehicle lineup. Hyundai Creta 

Price - The Creta SUV is available in India with its prices ranging between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 20.15 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Features - Hyundai recently updated the Creta SUV for the Indian market, hence it received a host of new features, These include an integrated screen for infotainment system and instrument cluster, rear-window shade, ambient lighting, BOSE 8 speaker sound system, 8-way power driver seat, wireless charger, front row ventilated seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, voice controlled panoramic sunroof and level 2 ADAS.

Engine Specs - Now, coming to the engine, the Hyundai Creta is offered with three engine options; a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine, a 1.5-litre diesel engine and a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. All these engines are capable of churning a power output of 115 bhp/144 Nm of torque, 116 bhp/250 Nm of torque and 160 bhp/253 Nm of torque.

Honda Elevate 

Price - The Elevate is Honda’s only SUV offering in the Indian market with its prices ranging between Rs 11.91 lakh and Rs 16.51 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Features - Talking about its features, the Elevate is a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, bluetooth connectivity, a 7-inch semi-digital driver’s display, automatic climate control, wireless charger, sunroof, rear AC vents, keyless start, cup holders and level 2 ADAS. 

Engine Specs - The Honda Elevate is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that churns out a power output of 121 bhp and 145 Nm of torque, paired to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic.

In summary, the Creta’s top model is priced higher than the Elevate’s top-spec variant. However, the top variants of Creta are the ones available with the new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that offers enhanced power output. So, if you’re looking to buy a more performance focussed SUV out of the two, then the top-spec variants of the Creta are an ideal choice. Although, if you have plans to purchase a mid-spec variant of the Creta, it is advised to rather go for the high-end trims of the Elevate because they offer almost similar features and a slight enhancement in performance.
