Mahindra XUV.e8 Interior Design Patented: Mahindra is gearing up to launch a new electric SUV in the Indian market. Ahead of its launch, Mahindra has patented the interior design of the upcoming XUV.e8. It will introduce a new interior design featuring a three-screen setup and a two-spoke steering wheel, as revealed by recent interior design patents. This new electric SUV, based on Mahindra’s INGLO platform, is set to be launched by the end of the year.

Mahindra XUV.e8 - Interior Design
The patent images show three individual screens in a single casing that spans the entire width of the dashboard. It will be an extension of the dual-screen setup seen in the XUV700, with an additional screen for the passenger. These screens will likely run on Mahindra’s Adrenox software. The AC vents are positioned on either side of this screen setup.
The new two-spoke, flat-bottomed steering wheel has a glass-like finish and is expected to feature an illuminated logo, similar to the latest Tata SUVs. The steering wheel also includes four toggle switches. Additionally, the XUV.e8 will carry over some controls from the XUV700, such as the HVAC and centre console controls. This interior design is expected to be shared with its coupe-SUV variant, the XUV.e9.
Mahindra XUV.e8 - Dimensions
The XUV.e8 will be conceptually similar to the XUV700, featuring a similar profile and three rows of seats. It measures 4,740mm in length, 1,900mm in width, and 1,760mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,762mm. This makes it slightly larger than the XUV700, being 45mm longer, 10mm wider, and 5mm taller, with a wheelbase that is 7mm longer.
