2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift Bookings: Maruti Suzuki, one of India’s largest automobile manufacturers is gearing up to launch the new generation model of its popular hatchback. The fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift is anticipated to hit the Indian market in May. Ahead of its official launch, some dealerships have begun accepting pre-bookings of the new-gen Swift.

2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift - Bookings
According to a report by HT Auto, you can book the new Swift at specific Maruti Suzuki Arena dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000. Prices and delivery details about the new-gen Maruti Suzuki Swift haven’t been disclosed yet, however, it is expected that the manufacturer will reveal these details at its scheduled launch next month.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift - Exterior
Talking about its exterior appearance, the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift is anticipated to come in a range of colours. Its new look features an evolved design with updates to the front grille, bumpers, alloy wheels and a shark-fin antenna. Interestingly, the new model swaps the rear door handles on the C-pillar for conventional door handles.

Moving inside the new-gen Swift, the cabin has also been significantly revamped. As seen in international spec models, it will feature a floating touchscreen infotainment system and a larger MID unit for the instrument console. The new Swift is also expected to offer more space inside with new seat upholstery.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift - Engine Specs
In terms of engine specs, this is the most significant upgrade in the new Swift. It will now be equipped with a newly introduced 1.2-litre Z-Series (Z12E) petrol engine. This engine has already been introduced in global markets and will replace the current 1.2-litre K-Series (K12C) motor in India. This petrol engine will be mated to either manual or AMT gearboxes for transmission duties. Additionally, Maruti will offer a CNG option for the new Swift and may introduce higher variants to attract more private buyers.
