Tata Altroz Racer Officially Teased: Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the new Altroz Racer, a performance version of the Altroz hatchback. The Tata Altroz Racer was first showcased at the Auto Expo and later at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. After several sightings of test models, Tata Motors has officially teased the Altroz Racer ahead of its launch next month.
Tata Altroz Racer - Exterior Design
The teaser image reveals the Tata Altroz Racer in a striking dual-tone orange and black colour scheme, similar to the one displayed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. Tata Motors is also expected to offer the car in a red and black dual-tone and an all-black version with sporty stripes on the hood and bonnet. The exterior design includes sporty side skirts and a larger roof-mounted spoiler at the back. However, the alloy wheels in the teaser image differ from those on the concept car, indicating that the production version will use the same alloys as the top variant of the regular Altroz.
Tata Altroz Racer - Interior & Features
Moving inside, the Tata Altroz Racer will feature an all-black interior with contrasting colour accents on the dashboard, upholstery stitching and ambient lighting. Key features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the latest user interface, ventilated leatherette front seats, a 360-degree camera, voice-activated electric sunroof and six airbags as standard.

Tata Altroz Racer - Engine
Under the hood, the Tata Altroz Racer will be powered by a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine from the Nexon, producing a power output of 120 bhp and 170 Nm of torque. This engine will be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Although an automatic transmission option has been speculated, it has not yet been confirmed.
