Upcoming Coupe SUVs In India: The SUV market is gearing up for multiple coupe SUV launches in the coming year. The coupe SUV segment was earlier restricted to the luxury cars in India. However, many automobile manufacturers are now working on upcoming coupe SUV models that will cater to the mass market. Some of these manufacturers include Citroen, Tata and Mahindra. Let’s take a look at some of their upcoming coupe SUV models that are slated to be launched in the Indian market soon.

Citroen Basalt SUV
The Citroen Basalt SUV is set to debut in India in the second half of this year. While specific details about its powertrain haven't been disclosed yet, it's anticipated that Citroen Basalt will be equipped with the same 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine found in the C3 Aircross SUV. This engine is known for its efficiency and performance, making it a likely choice for the new Basalt.
Tata Curvv
Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the highly anticipated midsize coupe SUV, the Tata Curvv. Initially, this model will be available as an electric vehicle (EV) and is expected to be launched during the festive season. Following this, petrol and diesel variants are expected to be introduced either later this year or early next year. The diesel variant will feature the 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine from the Nexon, while the petrol version will be equipped with Tata's new 1.2-litre three-cylinder TGDi engine.
Mahindra BE.05
Mahindra is planning to launch the BE.05 which is slated to be the first electric vehicle under the BE series. Expected to hit the market in October 2025, the BE.05 will also be built on the INGLO platform. This platform is designed to accommodate battery packs ranging from 60 kWh to 80 kWh and is compatible with both Blade and Prismatic battery types.
Mahindra XUV.e9
Another exciting launch from Mahindra is the XUV.e9 that is scheduled to be launched in the Indian market by April 2025. This model will be built on Mahindra's INGLO platform. While detailed specifications of the electric powertrain are still under wraps, the XUV.e9 is expected to offer a combination of advanced technology and robust performance.
