Yamaha FZ-X Chrome Variant: Yamaha Motor India has unveiled a new chrome colour option for the 2024 FZ-X motorcycle. The Yamaha FZ-X features chrome-finished key components and has been launched at Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom). Additionally, Yamaha India has announced that the initial 100 customers will receive a Casio G-Shock watch upon taking delivery of this motorcycle variant.

Yamaha FZ-X Chrome Variant - Design 

The Yamaha FZ-X Chrome variant is the latest addition to the Yamaha FZ-X lineup and will be positioned at the top of the lineup with its prices starting from Rs 1.36 lakh for the Matte Copper shade. The Dark Matte Blue and Matte Titan colours are priced slightly higher at Rs. 1.40 lakh. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom. In this new chrome edition, the headlamp unit and fuel tank feature the distinctive chrome finish, while the remaining components remain unchanged. Metal elements receive a brushed aluminium finish, complemented by black paint in other key areas. The wheels retain their gold finish, consistent with other variants.

Yamaha FZ-X - Engine Specs 

The FZ-X stands as Yamaha’ most affordable motorcycle in the 150 cc segment. The Yamaha FZ-X is powered by a 149 cc air-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine that is capable of delivering 12.2 bhp and 13.3 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox and gets single-channel ABS and a Traction Control System (TCS) as standard.

Yamaha FZ-X - Hardware 

Talking about the hardware, the Yamaha FZ-X is equipped with telescopic front forks and a monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes both at the front and rear. The bike features an LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, offering various connectivity features through the Y-Connect mobile app.

The Yamaha FZ-X competes with other models in the 150 cc segment such as the Bajaj Pulsar N150, Honda Unicorn 160, Hero Xtreme 160R and TVS Apache RTR 160 2V.
