IND vs ENG, ODI World Cup 2023: England's star spinner Adil Rashid reached a milestone during their match against India in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Sunday.

Rashid completed 350 international wickets as she became only the ninth and third England spinner to achieve the feat.

The leg-spinner reached the milestone in Match 29, having picked up two wickets for just 35 runs in his quota of 10 overs at an economy rate of 3.50.

He put up a remarkable performance against the Men in Blue, picking up the key wickets of Rohit Sharma who was inching closer to his second century of the tournament but was dismissed for 87, and Ravindra Jadeja who scored just eight runs.

His crucial wickets helped England restrict India to 229/9 in their 50 overs.

Talking about the match, England put India into bat first after winning the toss and put up a marvelous bowling performance, picking up early massive wickets.

While Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, and Shreyas Iyer departed cheaply, skipper Rohit took the job in his hands and added crucial runs with KL Rahul before getting dismissed.

Suryakumar Yadav's crucial innings of 49 runs helped India go beyond the 200-run mark.

David Willey was the most successful bowler for England as he picked up three wickets for 45 runs. Rashid and Chri Woakes took two wickets each while Mark Wood also got one scalp.
