IND vs ENG: Many fans would have bought the Wankhede ticket to watch Virat Kohli in action in the thrilling encounter between India and England. However, their anticipation turned to dismay as the star batsman made his way back to the pavilion without a single run to his name.

A hushed stillness enveloped the stadium when Kohli left the field. It all unravelled after Kohli played four consecutive dot balls off Willey’s bowling. Eager to get off the mark, he ventured into an expansive shot. Despite using his feet to reach the ball, Kohli misjudged the length, attempting a downtown shot that resulted in a top-edged catch to mid-off, only to find the ball landing safely in the hands of Ben Stokes.
