Kohli's exceptional ODI form continued unabated in Raipur, as he notched up his 76th half-century in the format, and fourth of the year, with a characteristic drive off Lungi Ngidi in the 25th over.

The former captain's masterful stroke sent the ball to sweeper cover, earning him a single and triggering booming "Kohli! Kohli!" chants across the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium.

As Kohli crossed the fifty-run mark, head coach Gautam Gambhir erupted into applause as he celebrated his star batter's milestone.
South Africa skipper Temba Bavuma won the toss and elected to bowl in the second ODI against India here on Wednesday.

The Proteas made three modifications to the playing XI, including Keshav Maharaj, Lungi Ngidi and Bavuma himself after the captain missed the first match. They replaced Prenelan Subrayen, Ryan Rickelton and Ottniel Baartman.

India, which led the three-match series 1-0, remained unchanged. Notably, this is India's 20th straight toss loss in One-day Internationals.
