He last appeared against the Hardik Pandya-led team, but struggled and sustained an injury, leading him to sit out the match against the Bengaluru-based franchise.
After recovering from injury, Inglis rejoined the team for the duel against the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side, producing one of the most impressive innings for the team this year. He attacked from the first ball, exploited field restrictions, and raced to his fifty in just 17 balls. He executed exceptional reverse-paddle shots, dismantled CSK's fast bowlers, and used his feet skillfully during Akeal Hosein's over.

Mitchell Marsh, who scored a century in their previous match, departed early, but Inglis continued to dominate and kept the scoring rate elevated.
