About Aavesham

The story follows three teenagers who come to Bangalore for their engineering education and find themselves entangled in a conflict with senior students. Seeking vengeance, they turn to a local gangster named Ranga for help. Their interaction with Ranga sets the stage for the rest of the narrative.

Speaking at 'Aavesham' event, Fahadh Faasil opened up about Ranga's character, stating, "Ranga in 'Aavesham' is unlike any character we've seen before." Responding to inquiries regarding comparisons with Rolex, Fahadh Faasil asserts, "There is no resemblance between Rolex and Ranga. Ranga brings a different kind of energy and fun to the screen."

Aavesham was announced in March 2023, with Jithu Madhavan directing and Fahadh Faasil starring in the titular role as a gangster based in Bangalore. The film serves as a spin-off of Jithu Madhavan's debut film, 'Romancham.' Co-produced by Nazriya Nazim, Fahadh, and Anwar, it will be released under their respective banners, Anwar Rasheed Entertainment and Fahadh Faasil and Friends. Cinematography is handled by Sameer Thahir, while the music is composed by Sushin Shyam. Scheduled for release in India on April 11, 2024, 'Aavesham' will be distributed by A & A Release.
