The strong bond between Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday became evident during their joint appearance on Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan Season 8. Following a sighting of the best friends outside a production company, social media is buzzing with speculation about the possibility of them co-starring in a film. Confirming these speculations, report hinted at discussions for a sequel to the 2012 hit film Cocktail, featuring the Bollywood besties Sara and Ananya.

The speculation gained momentum after sightings of both actresses exiting the offices of Maddock Films, the production house responsible for the Cocktail franchise. Ananya Panday made a stylish statement in a white tank top paired with jeans, exuding elegance. With her hair down and a minimalist yet sophisticated look, she accessorised with a black handbag. Sara Ali Khan, in contrast, embraced a casual yet chic style, sporting a white cropped T-shirt and black pants. She opted for a natural hairstyle, letting her hair flow freely.
According to a News18 report, the duo is in talks for roles in Cocktail 2. Discussions about the movie are underway, and both actresses are being considered as potential leads for the film.
