Gadar 2 Vs OMG 2 Advance Booking: Sunny Deol-Starrer Is Winning The Race Against Akshay Kumar's Film

Bollywood is all set to witness one of the biggest clashes at the Box Office this year as two highly-anticipated films, 'Gadar 2' and 'Oh My God 2', will hit the theatres on August 11, 2023. The advance bookings for both the films have now started and the initial report is out. Here is a look at how much money 'Gadar 2' and 'OMG 2' have minted so far:

Gadar 2 Advance Booking

Fans have huge expectations from Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel-starrer film 'Gadar 2', which will hit the theatres on August 11.

In 2001, when 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha', starring Sunny Deol, Amisha Patel, and Amrish Puri in the lead roles, hit the theatres, it set a benchmark in the Indian film industry. The film was released at a time when patriotism was at its pinnacle following the Kargil War. Sunny Deol's powerful portrayal of Tara Singh, along with his iconic dialogue "Hindustan Zindabad Tha, Zindabad Hai, Zindabad Rahega" (Long Live India), became legendary and left a lasting impact on Indian cinema.

As the advance booking for 'Gadar 2' was made available 10 days ahead of its theatrical release, according to a report by Sacnilk, the film has so far sold 56,000 tickets. With this, they earned Rs 1.47 crore.

OMG 2 ADVANCE BOOKING

Based on the story of Kanti Sharan Mudgal, a staunch devotee of Lord Shiva, the film will see Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in the lead roles. According to a report in Sacnilk, 'OMG 2' has sold about 7,300 tickets till now. The film has made a total of Rs 25 lakh till now.
