Finally, the good news is here. Bollywood actor and filmmaker Arbaaz Khan and his wife, makeup artist Sshura Khan, have become parents. The couple has reportedly been blessed with a baby girl. The couple, who tied the knot in an intimate yet star-studded ceremony in December 2023, have welcomed their first child. Sshura was admitted to PD Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday, October 4. Although the couple hasn’t officially announced the joyous news of their baby’s birth yet.

According to a source quoted by India Today, Arbaaz and Sshura were blessed with a baby girl on Sunday, October 5. Salman Khan is also reportedly on his way back from the Panvel farmhouse to celebrate and welcome the new member into the family.

Earlier in the day, several videos surfaced on social media showing Arbaaz’s son with Malaika Arora, Arhaan Khan and Sohail Khan were seen visiting the hospital to check on Sshura before the delivery.

Ahead of welcoming their first child, Arbaaz hosted a grand baby shower ceremony a few weeks ago. His elder brother, Salman, along with other family members and several industry friends, attended the function.

On confirming Sshura’s pregnancy and speaking about embracing fatherhood, Arbaaz Khan told Bombay Times in June, “Yes, it is there. I’m not denying that information because right now it’s something that is out there, my family knows about it. People have got to know about it, and it’s fine. It’s pretty evident also. It’s a very exciting time in both our lives. We are happy and excited. We’re going to welcome this new life in our life. Everybody tends to be nervous. Any person would feel (the nerves); I’m also getting into fatherhood now after some time. It’s a fresh new feeling for me all over again. I’m excited. I’m happy and I’m looking forward. It’s just giving me a new sense of happiness or responsibility. I’m kind of liking that."

Previously, Arbaaz was married to Malaika Arora, with whom he shares a son, Arhaan Khan. After almost 19 years of marriage, the two parted ways in 2017 but have maintained a cordial co-parenting relationship and are often spotted at each other's occasions. Arbaaz and Sshura got married in an intimate ceremony in the presence of their families in December 2023.
