Tajikistani singer Abdu Rozik, who became popular in India after appearing in Bigg Boss 16 and then Bigg Boss OTT 2, recently opened up about the painful reason behind the end of his engagement. The singer and reality show star had surprised fans in 2024 after announcing that he was engaged and ready to begin a new chapter in life. However, the relationship ended only a few months later. Now, Abdu has finally revealed that online trolling and negative comments played a major role in the breakup.

During a recent conversation with Deepti Sadhwani, Abdu Rozik shared details about the difficult phase in his personal life. He explained that too much public interference started affecting his relationship soon after the engagement announcement.
Abdu Rozik, who announced his engagement on May 11, 2024 by sharing a picture on Instagram, never revealed his fiancée’s identity publicly. Still some people reportedly managed to find her contact details and began sending messages to her online.

Trolls Targeted Abdu Rozik’s Former Fiancée
Abdu said many social media users mocked his height and asked questions about his relationship. “My fiancée got hurtful comments from people asking how she was going to marry someone so short,” he said.
The singer said the constant trolling and criticism had taken a toll on her emotions. Later, his former partner apologised and admitted she could not cope with the negativity surrounding their relationship every day, he said.

Abdu Respected Her Decision
“There was no bitterness between us,” Abdu said about the breakup. He said he understood her feelings and respected her decision in that difficult period.
The singer had earlier announced plans to marry on July 7, 2024 but the wedding never happened after the relationship ended suddenly.

Abdu Rozik’s Career Journey And Disease
Abdu Rozik was born on September 23, 2003, in Gishdarva, Tajikistan, and currently lives in Dubai. He gained popularity through songs like Ohi Dili Zor and Chaki Chaki Boron. Abdu became a household name in India after participating in Bigg Boss and later appeared in several reality shows.
The 23-year-old singer suffers from growth hormone deficiency and rickets, due to which his height remained 3 feet 9 inches. Despite health challenges, Abdu built a successful career in entertainment and recently appeared on Laughter Chefs.
