Detective Sherdil OTT Release: Detective Sherdil, Diljit Dosanjh's long-awaited movie , is finally ready for its OTT release. The mystery-comedy drama, which was produced by Ali Abbas Zafar, was finished years ago, but for some reason it never came out. Diana Penty, Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah, Chunky Panday, Banita Sandhu, and Sumeet Vyas are also featured in the mystery comedy drama.

When And Where To Watch Detective Sherdil?

Detective Sherdil's June 20th direct-to-OTT release on ZEE5 has been formally announced. The makers also shared the poster and release date on Sunday, June 8th, marking the formal announcement. ZEE5 captioned the post, "Sherdil’s detective skills are about to be an ATE/10. Don't say we didn't warn ya. #DetectiveSherdil premiering on 20th June, only on #ZEE5! (sic)."

About Detective Sherdil

Detective Sherdil stars Diljit as a 'quirky detective,' a full-length family entertainment that marks Ravi Chhabriya's directorial debut. In the mystery comedy, which was shot in Budapest, Dosanjh plays a peculiar detective who must solve a case full of secrets, twists, and strange suspects.

Following Jogi, Detective Sherdil is the second joint venture between Diljit Dosanjh and Ali Abbas Zafar. In contrast to the former, which Ali directed himself, the upcoming comic drama was directed by Ravi Chhabriya, who had previously worked with Ali on Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Bharat.

Ali Abbas Zafar said, "Diljit and I have previously worked on Jogi. After wrapping that film, I was sure we must work together again. He is one of the biggest stars we have, and now, as we bring Detective Sherdil to audiences on ZEE5, I still can’t believe we’ve wrapped up our second collaboration," in statement.
