As the bonus episode of Samay Raina's India's Got Latent Season 2 was released for members only, many clips from it have been going viral on social media. The one where Samay Raina took a dig at Alia Bhatt-starrer Alpha has swiftly taken over social media. What did he say?
Samay Raina Roasts Alia Bhatt's Alpha
Raghav Juyal was promoting his upcoming movie, saying, "Meri film aa rahi hai Bhai Tera Star Hai," during the episode. To this, Samay Raina quipped, "Kitni baar khud hi batana padega toh kaisa star hai?"
Raghav quickly hit back, saying, "Alia Bhatt ne bhi khud hi bataya tha." Samay then took a playful swipe at Alia Bhatt’s Alpha and replied, "Uski bhi nahi chali thi."

Samay's remark appeared to be a reference to Alpha, which failed to perform as expected at the box office despite a strong promotional strategy. The comedian's comment also caught attention because Alia Bhatt had appeared on the first episode of India's Got Latent Season 2 to promote Alpha.
Alpha also starred Sharvari Wagh, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in key roles. The action thriller was the seventh installment and first female-led film in the Yash Raj Films' spy universe. It started with Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger in 2012. Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, Tiger 3 and War 2 were other movies in this universe.
