Sanjay Leela Bhansali is one of the most cherished gems of the Indian film industry. With works like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas, Black, and Bajirao Mastani, the director has carved a niche for himself in the acting world. He is known for adding a personal touch to every scene, every costume, every dance choreography, and every other portion of filmmaking. The Ram Leela director is now in the process of coming up with another interesting movie called Love and War. It has a solid star cast including Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal and the Ramayana star Ranbir Kapoor.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love And War went on floors last year in November, and since then, 50% of the shoot has been wrapped up. According to a report in Pinkvilla, the director is all set to start shooting for the high-octane face-off between Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal from August 2025.

“Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be shooting for some epic face-offs between Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal from August 2025. His team is presently working to put up an elaborate set to capture these larger-than-life confrontation sequences between two of the best actors of the modern generation. SLB has spent a long time on paper to conceptualise and design these high-on-drama dialogue-heavy sequences ft. RK and Vicky,” the report quoted a source.

The source further claimed, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali is looking to call it a wrap on Love And War by the end of 2025. While a large chunk of the shoot will be done at multiple studios in Mumbai, the team also has an outdoor leg planned post October in Europe. SLB was just on a recce for the same in Rome. In the breaks between two schedules, SLB and his team are working to lock the edit of the already shot sequences. The next schedule begins around August, once RK and Alia are back from their vacation in London.”

Love And War is one of the highly anticipated movies of the year. With Sanjay Leela Bhansali as the director and a strong cast of Alia, Vicky and Ranbir, it can be touted that the movie is going to be a great work of art.
