The Ba***ds Of Bollywood: Contrary to popular belief, Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is not as serious as he appears in public. In fact, he is known to be cheerful and witty behind the scenes. The young star, who recently made his directorial debut with The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, rarely shows this side of himself in public and is often seen maintaining a composed, almost stern expression. However, actress Mona Singh, who worked with him on the Netflix series, has now opened up about Aryan’s real personality and revealed why he chooses not to smile for the cameras.

In an exclusive interview with Zoom, Mona Singh shared that Aryan is far from reserved when he’s on set. “He’s such a kid at heart. Always smiling, laughing, and cracking jokes,” she said fondly. “On set, khaana bhi ghar se aata tha. He would tell me, ‘No ma’am, today you must try this, it’s from home.’ He’s full of energy, very dedicated, and always makes sure the entire team actors and crew alike are happy and on the same page.” Mona went on to describe Aryan as someone who values comfort and positivity in the workplace, ensuring a light-hearted environment even during long shooting hours.

The Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin actress also recalled a light-hearted moment from the show’s premiere when the cast tried their best to make Aryan smile for the paparazzi. “On the day of the premiere, we all said, ‘Aaj toh camera pe smile karega yeh!’ But he chose not to,” Mona revealed with a laugh. “It’s his call he wants to maintain a particular image in public, and that’s completely fine. To each their own.” This insight from Mona gives fans a rare glimpse into Aryan’s mindset and why he prefers keeping a calm, composed image when facing the media.

Meanwhile, speaking further about her experience on set, Mona praised Aryan’s creative approach and enthusiasm for his craft. “He’s a performer! Aryan was very sure about how every scene should look. He would act out the scenes himself, showing me exactly what he wanted,” she explained. “He’d say, ‘Ma’am, you take out the note like this,’ and when I asked if I was doing it right, he’d laugh and say, ‘Yes ma’am, thoda masala.’ He really enjoys the process he’s passionate and has great comic timing.”
