Thug Life Review: Thug Life provided a realistic glimpse into Mani Ratnam's world of conflict, treachery and power. The trailer of this Tamil movie sets the tone for a massive action drama that features Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan TR (STR) facing off in a compelling clash of generations and beliefs. There are just three weeks left before the gangster action drama's June 5 theatrical debut.

Thug Life led by Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan TR, also stars Trisha Krishnan, Sanya Malhotra, Abhirami, Joju George, Pankaj Tripathi and Nasaar in significant role.

Thug Life has received a slew of early reviews from both reviewers and viewers. The first significant review from a business insider boldly referred to the film as a 'clear blockbuster,' which set the tone for its successful run at the box office.

Kamal Haasan's voiceover opens the trailer, saying, "You saved my life, you protected me from the Lord of Death. Our two destinies were written as one. You and I are now bound together as one. Till the end. Kamal's voice then continues to speak in the background while the trailer introduces STR's character. "If I am a lion, you are the king of the pride," he declares.

"Majestic lion,"  STR replied, correcting him. In agreement, Kamal says, "Yes, your Majesty." Kamal eventually names STR as his successor. The twist occurs when STR turns against Kamal Haasan.

Thug Life features gunfights, monologues, and stylish gangsters in its recently released trailer. AR Rahman's music and Mani Ratnam's storyline have set the tone high for Kamal Haasan led Tamil movie. It's hoped that 'Thug Life' will give a well-known tale fresh life via creativity, emotion and performance.

The creators of Thug Life unveiled the trailers in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi at a large gathering in Chennai.
