Patriot Advance Booking Collection: The excitement for the Malayalam spy thriller Patriot has reached fever pitch as the film prepares for its grand theatrical release on May 1, 2026. Starring the legendary duo Mammootty and Mohanlal, the film has already shattered several pre-release records.

According to trade analysts, the project has officially entered the list of top opening-day performers in Malayalam cinema, having earned over Rs 3 crore in Kerala and roughly Rs 9 crore globally. Current estimates suggest that Patriot is eyeing a Rs 25 crore global opening. If these figures hold, it will become the second-highest Malayalam opener of all time. Currently, Mohanlal’s Empuraan holds the top spot with a staggering Rs 70 crore first-day gross.

Box office tracker Jerin Georgekutty recently shared updates on the film's momentum, noting that the worldwide total for advance bookings is nearing the Rs 10 crore mark with one day left for release. According to data from Sacnilk, the Gulf region alone has contributed over Rs 4 crore to the total.

In Kerala, the response has been phenomenal. When bookings opened on April 28, nearly 10,000 tickets were sold within minutes. By early afternoon, that number had surged to 85,000 tickets. International markets have also shown strong support, with advance sales crossing USD 200,000 (over Rs 1.8 crore).

Directed by Mahesh Narayanan, Patriot is more than just a collaboration between Mammootty and Mohanlal. The film features Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Nayanthara, Revathi, and Darshana Rajendran. The film is produced by Anto Joseph and K. G. Anil Kumar, who have backed this large-scale production.

With current trade estimates predicting a domestic start in the Rs 10-12 crore gross , Patriot is poised to be one of the most talked-about releases of 2026.
