OMG 2 Box office Collection Day 2: The much-anticipated satirical comedy-drama starring Akshay Kumar, Yami Gautam, and Pankaj Tripathi finally hit the theatres this Friday after a long wait. The movie is in direct competition with 'Gadar 2'. Despite the box office clash, both films are performing strongly and drawing audiences to the cinemas.

'OMG 2' brought in a sigh of relief for Khiladi Kumar, as the superstar needed box office success since his 2021 release, 'Sooryavanshi.' In contrast, Sunny Deol's film is making history at the theatres, setting new records for the Hindi film industry for the very first time.

'Gadar 2' raked in an impressive Rs 40.10 crores on Friday, while 'OMG 2' began with Rs 10.26 crores at the box office. Given the unconventional theme of s*x education at the heart of Akshay Kumar's film, the collection is quite commendable.

The movie holds an A-certificate, which could be one of the reasons behind its underperformance. According to early estimates, Anil Rai's movie is projected to have garnered Rs 14.50 crores nett on the second day with an occupancy rate of 57.91 per cent in Hindi. This brings the movie's total collection to Rs 24.76 crore at the domestic box office.

Following an excellent beginning for the movie led by Sunny Deol, initial patterns indicate that the film is likely to amass approximately Rs 42-44 crore on its second day.
