OMG 2 Box Office Collection Day 3: A decade after the release of 'OMG,' its sequel made its way to cinemas on August 11. With Akshay Kumar, Yami Gautam, and Pankaj Tripathi in prominent roles, 'OMG 2' is currently encountering stiff rivalry at the box office from 'Gadar 2,' which features Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. However, despite this clash, Akshay Kumar's movie is demonstrating commendable success at the theatres. It not only achieved a robust first-day collection but also witnessed a significant 50 per cent boost in its performance over the opening weekend.
'OMG 2,' on day 3, earned Rs 17.50 crore at the box office, therefore, bringing its total collection to Rs 43.56 crore, according to early estimates. Directed by Amit Rai, the movie also achieved an aggregate Hindi occupancy rate of 71.64 per cent on Sunday.
In the morning shows, the film experienced a 46.17 per cent occupancy within the North Indian market. Throughout the day, the percentages gradually rose, hitting 76.00 per cent for matinee showings and 86.72 per cent for evening screenings. Nonetheless, night presentations experienced a 77.66 per cent occupancy rate.
