Tourist Family Box Office Collection Day 5: With Kamalesh, Mithun Jai Sankar, Simran, and M. Sasikumar in the major parts, Tourist Family is doing incredibly well at the box office. Positive word-of-mouth from the Tamil movie's premiere is fueling its success. 

Tourist Family made 2.75 crore on its fifth day, based on preliminary estimates in sacnilk. With Rs 1.7 crore on day two (Friday), the Tamil movie fell 15% from its opening of Rs 2 crore. It made Rs 3.75 crore on the first Sunday and Rs 2.7 crore on the first Saturday. M Sasikumar and Simran has now made 12.90 crores in total revenue in India.

Tourist Family has alread recovered half of its budget within five days and is slowly approaching in profit zone. The Tamil comic drama is now getting close to 15 crores. It is likewise steadily moving in the direction of the profit-making zone. Reportedly, M Sasikumar and Simran starrer was mounted on a budget of Rs 16 crore.

Tourist Family is holding up well even on the weekdays. Going by the trends, the movie is expected to show better trends than its rival release, Retro starring Suriya, in the coming days. If the good word-of-mouth continues the Tamil movie may soon surpass its entire budget. In addition, Tourist Family's Indian net receipts are 91% greater than M Sasikumar's previous movie's lifetime total.

Tourist Family OTT Release | Report

Tourist Family will be available on JioHotstar on May 31, 2025, as per a report by The Economic Times. The publication stated that insider sources verified the picture will be released at the conclusion of its 4-week theatrical run, despite the fact that there has been no official announcement on the OTT release date.
